w       Generally accepted accounting principles—what they are and how they affect your organization

w       Financial statement analysis- interpreting your company’s financial signals

w       Annual reports—how to determine the health of an organization

w       Analysis of return on investment-­including the payback method and discounted cash flow methods such as net present value and internal rate of return

w       Working through practical exercises to ascertain how finance and accounting procedures impact on business decisions
