Overview:
This course
provides a theoretically sound analytical framework that guides managers in
making the firm’s investment and financing decisions. The main purpose of the course is to present
and discuss analytical tools derived from the theory and to apply this theory
to contemporary examples. Mathematical
skills are introduced and thoroughly explained, previous knowledge is not
essential. Practical applications of concepts will be provided.
This seminar
provides an introduction into the basics of financial management. It aims at familiarizing managers with a
